South Korean Prime Minister Chung Un-chan today, 29-7, filed a formal resignation to President Lee Myung-bak, after 10 months in office.

The move by Prime Minister Chung seemed to take responsibility for government failures in the "super project" Sejong City. After the Korean National Assembly on 30-6, rejected plans worth billions of dollars to develop into a center Sejong science, economics and education of the country, Prime Minister General has repeatedly expressed intention to resign.
Speaking on television on 29-7, Mr. Chung said: "I leave the prime minister position and receive all responsibility".
